The WD11 is a triode detector designed for early battery receivers by Westinghouse and later produced for RCA. Later versions under the RCA name (Radiotron) had lime getters on the filament press. Later types were shorter (3.25"). The final version had lost the tip, cylindrical plate and gone to the conventional getter.
