The 851 or VT-41, CG-2172 and 38151 is a 750 watt triode with a mu of 20.5. Maximum frequency for full power is 3 MHz. They were first made for sale in 1925. The first example is an RCA with a metal anode and brass cap, the second with the carbon anode was made by GE (GE-851) and the third with the metal anode by Westinghouse (CG-2172).
