The 807 or VT-100 is a 30 watt dissipation pentode with full ratings to 60 MHz first announced by RCA in 1937. A shorter version, the 807W or 5933, was produced by Sylvania. The 807 was a very popular tube in amateur transmitters and a slang expression for a beer is a "cold 807".
