The 575A is a half wave mercury vapor rectifier developed by RCA replacing the earlier 575 made by DeForest. This tube was made with different construction by other makers. The second example was made by Amperex (AX-575A), the third by Machlett (ML-575A) and the forth by Westinghouse (WL-575A).
