450TH

The 450TH or VT-108 is a 450 watt triode with a mu of 38 and usable at full power to 40 MHz. They originated from the 450T "HI" varient. Early versions had hemispherical anode caps and a grid pin horizontally through the envelope as in the second example (1944) like the 450T. In 1945 the more common types had the grid exiting the envelope at an angle.
