327A

The 327A is a 100 watt triode with a mu of 31 that was developed by Eimac in WWII for use as pulsed oscillators in the SC and SK series of Navy search radars. The second example was made by Westinghouse and the third by ICE. The photo shows twelve of the 327A tubes in a 1 million watt, 200 MHz, ring oscillator.
